Screen share


If you need to share your own screen during online classes or meetings,
try the screen sharing function in the video call.

How do I share the screen?

👉 If you mouse over your face in a video call, you can see a button for setting and sharing the screen. Click the screen sharing button on the right.

✌️ Select the screen to share and click the Share button.

  • You can share among entire screen, window, and a chrome tab.

🤟 When screen sharing begins the selected screen are activated. Sharing can be paused on the Marimba screen and if you need work on the board again you can end screen sharing.

❗️ If sharing the screen does not start immediately while using Mac, please allow permission. 🙅‍♀️
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen recording > Set Google Chrome as Enable.
  • Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen recording
    • Set Google Chrome as Enable.

What does it look like to the participants?

When the screen sharing begins, a notification is displayed to the user on the board. Users can participate in the video call to see the shared screen immediately.

If you need work on the board while sharing the screen, you can minimize the screen and continue to use the board. At this time you can check the sharing status through the mini screen you can view it on the full screen again.
